Karra Detrick grew up in a small town in upstate, New York. Some of her fondest memories revolve around sitting on her front porch with family and friends with Dixie cups of wine and platters of cheese. Karra worked in restaurants throughout high school, college and grad school. After graduating, Karra taught high school Art in the public school system for over ten years and never lost her passion for food and entertaining. After staying home to raise her son Elias, she taught private art lessons and held art, food and fundraising events and collaborations. Always an entertainer, she has catered  locally for charity fundraisers, meet & greets, social events, and provided countless families and work forces with breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks.

Her food is known as approachable, fun and creative. She hopes to help you customize your next event with her artistic eye, specialized detail and delicious food.
